The
History of Bower & Child.
Established over 150 years ago Bower &
Child has its roots as suppliers and installers
of fireplaces
and cast iron kitchen ranges for Huddersfield
and the surrounding villages.
This tradition evolved over the next century
to encompass the installation of central heating
systems,
gas appliances, wood and multi-fuel stoves
and chimney lining systems. |

In
the 1970’s we were appointed as
the official Aga cooker distributor
for the West Yorkshire region. Sales,
installing & servicing of these
cast iron cookers, along with the Rayburn
and Stanley cookers, now form the backbone
of the business.
Aga cooker demonstrations are performed
in our showroom throughout the year.
In addition to these we also supply
and install an even greater range of
more contempory range cookers, along
with gas/oil/wood and multi-fuel stoves
& fireplaces. |
